In the pool

So Joanne showed up and we made our way up to sukhothai to see some temples and enjoy the end of San Kram. After a really hot day and tons of walking all over the place and riding bikes around the temples we headed back to the hotel to swim in the pool. We ordered some food and Joanne decided to sit out of the water and eat while I was swimming. I swam up to the edge of the pool to talk for a bit and she sort of looked to the side of me and said ..... Whats that? I looked over and we both realized at the same time that it was a dead baby pidgin floating about a foot away from me. All featherless, pale skin and a tiny beak. We scooped it out of the water and went back to our tempura plate.......
